I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dominick's Italian Restaurant, and the experience was everything I hoped for from a great Italian restaurant. From the moment I arrived, I felt a warm and inviting atmosphere that made the evening feel special. The restaurant has a comfortable, welcoming charm that creates the perfect setting for enjoying a delicious meal. The food was outstanding, with authentic Italian flavors, fresh ingredients, and dishes prepared with obvious passion and attention to detail. Every plate had a wonderful balance of flavors, and it was clear that the kitchen takes pride in creating meals that feel both traditional and memorable. Went out for a family dinner since my dad is in town from Florida, we wanted to go to a local Oxnard spot. The server didn’t introduce herself, we had to ask her name (Celia) , she didn’t smile, didn’t get us all the water we asked for and it felt like everything was an inconvenient to her. I asked for the pasta on the side of my chicken dish and she refused so it couldn’t accommodate my allergy. The food on the other hand for my family was really great, I had the anti pasta salad because of my gluten allergy but it was good. We don’t go out often so it was pretty disappointing service but the busboy was nice and the food was good so overall it was ok.

Horrible in every possible way. Impossible to park. There is only a side alley access from a back door. I had pizza with 4 toppings. It was $40 and took 45 minutes. We also had penne à la Vodka which was so bad. It was dark, the service was, well self service would have been much better. And the most incredible thing is the owner/ founder was present and oblivious to all of this!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!! And very EXPENSIVE! Avoid this place.

Dominick’s Italian Restaurant is fantastic! The pizza was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Sean was great to work with—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for quality Italian food and excellent service. Will definitely be back!

First time visit on a Sunday around 5pm and it was a nice time to arrive. There’s parking behind the building & plenty of seating inside. The food was delicious! Mood lighting for a romantic dinner if you would like to take a date there. My husband and I got two appetizers, one entrée to share, the dessert cheesecake, a side salad and two club sodas- We spent around $80. It was a nice, clean restaurant.
